The Engineering / Technical Project Manager will oversees complex, high-priority technical Engineering Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities can include developing detailed project plans, managing risks and issues, acting as a technical liaison with stakeholders and vendors, and providing strategic direction for resource allocation and Project development. The role demands strong technical understanding, leadership, and excellent communication skills to coordinate technical teams and translate business goals into actionable tasks, ensuring Project success and adherence to quality standards.
- Build and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans.
- Facilitate communication and problem-solving across cross-functional teams.
- Proactively identify and address risks, dependencies, and blockers to ensure project success.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing best practices and lessons learned.
- Participate in communicating impacts regarding capacity and demand.
- Identifying and making recommendations for improvement to existing processes and procedures.
- Manage all phases of the Project through the Product Development process.
- Define key performance parameters and create regular variance reports to track progress.
- Negotiate with Engineering Resource Managers for Project resources.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate team workflows in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
- Project governance certification (PMP, Agile) required.
- Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders to resolve challenges and minimise project risks.
- Demonstrated success in managing projects—planning accurately, meeting milestones, managing resources, and communicating progress.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects or tasks simultaneously.
- Experience delivering projects of varying sizes and timelines.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across IT or cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, respectful approach to teamwork.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Masters Degree, B.Eng (Hons) & HND in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
